Supervisory Approach

My style of supervision is very much a continuation of my therapeutic approach, which is largely systemic. I seek to create a collaborative space where supervisees can develop their practice.

Supervisees are encouraged to explore, through the lenses of culture, family history and personal experience, how they are affected by their clients, giving a sense of how their biases can affect their work with clients. For example, in my therapeutic work I view an individual, not as an isolated figure but as an interconnected part of a social system.

I place potential supervisees in the driving seat of their own development and adjust accordingly to their needs, whilst ensuring  their practice meets the highest ethical standards.

Groups

Was £30 Now £20 Per Person

Session Duration :2hrs

Supervisees who wish to access Supervision online should consider their ability to create  a secure space, in order to keep sessions as confidential. as possible.

Due to the size of my therapy room I am unable to offer group supervision in person.

Maximum of 4 people per group. 

​

A group of up to 4 people  can claim 50% of the time together.

2hrs of Group Supervision= 1hr

1hr of Supervision= 30mins

Supervision Criteria

The following criteria is  based on the ethical frame work set out my professional body and my own  personal preferences

1) Supervisees must hold/training towards a counselling qualification (min level 4), that has been accredited by a professional body that, is a member of the Professional Standards Authority. 

2) Supervisees must hold an individual, registered or accredited membership, with a professional body. That is registered with the professional standards authority. 

3) Supervisees working in Private practice must have completed a least 250hrs (Training + Post Qualification). 

Newly Qualified Counsellors

Those with 100-250hrs of clinical practicing in an organisational setting 

Concession Lasts for 12 Months

£40 per session

Counsellors Beginning in Private Practice

Requires 250hrs minimum of post qualification practice. Concession lasts for 6 months

Student (Individual)

Proof of course accreditation and enrolment must be provided

£30 per session

Session Duration :1hr 30mins

OR

Student (Group)

Proof of course accreditation and enrolment must be provided

£10 per session
